arty on Saturday, June 9th! It was a beautiful, sunny day in Ellicottville to gather and remember our beloved, Elisa, and the amazing person she continues to be in our hearts. 87 runners and walkers participated in the 5k Fun Run/Walk! Congratulations to Laura Heintz, Orry Shattenburg and Ignacio de Orbe-the first place finishers in women’s, men’s and youth divisions.
Thank you also to the many local businesses and individuals that donated items for our fundraising raffle event. This year we added a silent auction of some great pieces of artwork by Elisa Hughey, Inigo de Orbe and Judson Brown. Because of everyone’s generosity, we raised over $4,500 toward the scholarship fund!
